Homemade Corn Tortillas

 3 ½ cups maseca
 3 ¼ cups warm water
Specialty Tools
 Tortilla press
 Plastic (she used a ziploc bag)

Pour maseca into a medium bowl.

Pour in 1/2 to 1 cup of water at a time into the bowl and knead until mixed. Repeat until all water is gone.

Roll flattened balls about 3 inches in diameter.

Place flattened ball into tortilla press to make a tortilla shape.

Place medium-large pan on a large burner on the stovetop and preheat pan using high heat.

Place uncooked tortilla directly onto a preheated pan. Flip when it bubbles and is slightly browned.

Set aside and cover to keep warm. Serve fresh with your favorite dish.
