Featuring live art, live performances, live music, interactive art for the whole family, and food vendors.
The largest outdoor arts festival in the valley is back! Join us for our upcoming Taste The Arts event on October 14th, 2023, from 10:00am – 5:00pm with a special evening concert in partnership with Sound N Vision from 5:00pm – 10:00pm.
Experience three city blocks of art, culture, and wellness activities happening right in the heart of Downtown Visalia as local artists display their work along Garden Street. Booths will be lined-up from Garden Street Plaza to School Street.
Festival goers can participate in interactive art booths or sit in on live art demonstrations. Create, admire and purchase the beautiful art for sale, then take a break and watch the performing artists on our Garden Street Plaza stage with a full day of live performances!
Ampelio Mejia Perez, Executive Director of the Arts Consortium, says, “Artists of all varieties prepare their artworks throughout the year to showcase them at this premiere event. Another great aspect of this festival is how it brings our community together to celebrate our growing arts scene.”
This year, the fun does not stop at 5:00pm. Sound N Vision will take over the Garden Street Plaza stage at 5:00pm and will host an evening concert with multiple music groups. Food vendors will be present as well as a beer garden.
While the art festival and evening music at the plaza are free – no tickets required, beer tickets will be sold from 5:30pm – 9:30pm.
